The main Water Mill
The museum of Morat is one of the oldest in the canton Fribourg. It stands since 1978 in the old water mill, situated under the surrounding walls of the city.
The exhibition
The permanent exhibition illustrates 6000 years of the history of Morat and its area throughout its 5 levels. The objects tell their stories as well as those of the population from various periods such as :
